How to choose your room
First-Year Housing
Everglades Hall
Named after the beautiful Everglades National Park located just west of FIU in sunny South Florida, Everglades Hall is home to 372 first-year residents and 12 resident assistants. This welcoming residential community offers spacious, fully furnished rooms in a 3-bedroom private floor plan, with a full kitchen and shared bathroom in each unit.
Lakeview Hall
Lakeview Hall brings Lakeview North and Lakeview South together into a suite-style community for first-year students, home to 800 residents and 20 resident assistants. With 2-bedroom shared suites and 4-bedroom private suites, Lakeview gives students the chance to be close to neighbors while still having spaces to study, recharge, and settle into campus life.
Panther Hall
Panther Hall is home to 392 first-year residents and 10 resident assistants, offering a suite-style community where students can build connections during their first year at FIU. This fully furnished hall features 2-bedroom shared suites with Twin XL mattresses, a refrigerator in each unit, and a shared full bathroom.
Parkview Hall
Parkview Hall is a vibrant home for 596 first-year and upper-class Honors College students and 15 resident assistants, offering a welcoming space where residents can live, learn, and grow together. Made up of two 6-story dormitories, Parkview East and Parkview West, the community is connected by a beautiful sky bridge and features fully furnished 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment-style units with a full kitchen, living room, and shared bathrooms.
Bayview
Bayview Student Living at FIU is located in North Miami at FIU’s Biscayne Bay campus. Our academically focused environment helps students learn and grow outside of the classroom in a homey environment complete with social and educational events.
Upperclassmen Housing
Tamiami Hall
Tamiami Hall is home to 676 second-year students, 16 resident assistants, and one Themed Community, offering a modern apartment-style living experience on campus. Featuring fully furnished 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments and studio options, Tamiami gives residents room to settle in, study, and connect.
University Towers
University Towers is a 10-floor apartment-style community that primarily houses second-year students and is home to 482 residents and 12 resident assistants. With private bedrooms in 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom apartments, plus limited studio availability, University Towers offers students a more independent living experience while keeping them close to campus life.
University Apartments
University Apartments is a courtyard-style, two-story apartment community for second-year students and is home to 264 residents and 6 resident assistants. With studio, shared, and private bedroom options, this community gives residents a comfortable apartment-style living experience surrounded by outdoor community spaces.
