    Fall 2021 move-in

A successful move-in day depends on how well you prepare. Having everything you need will make your transition into your new home go smoothly. To help ensure the safety of our residents, during COVID-19, we are taking preventative measures to keep your move-in experience healthy, clean, and safe.

    Fall Move-in date and time

We have created a schedule that promotes physical distancing.  Only 10 students will be allowed to move-in per hour per building with move-in happening over 7 days. Students will sign up for a one-hour move-in time slot at -> Student Tools -> Student Housing -> MMC Housing -> Move-in Time Selection.   They will be able to select a date and time to arrive between August 15-21 from 9am to 6pm each day.

You can make your selection beginning July 6, 2021.

Students who arrive within their designated time, are given priority. If you arrive outside of your designated time, you will need to wait for students with priority to be granted access to move-in. A staff member will provide direction upon arrival.

Day of Check-in

Check-in will be touchless. Students will check-in online, at -> Student Tools -> Student Housing -> MMC Housing -> Summer/Fall Check-in.   Once this is completed, their One Card will be activated and they can swipe their One Card to get into their apartment or suite.

  • Students will be granted access to a cart. Students also have the option to bring their own dolly or hand-truck.
  • Parking permits are not required on move-in day. Do not park on sidewalks, on the grass, or in ADA spaces.
  • In efforts to make your move-in day easy, we encourage students to print our HRL Car Contact form prior. Please write your name and phone number, and place it on the vehicle's dashboard while parking in your loading zone.
