Spring 2024 Move-out
Students not staying with us for the Summer Session A or C are expected to move out 24 hours after their last final exam, but no later than noon on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Check-out Procedure:
- Residential Experience staff will communicate to all residents in each area the proper way to complete a check-out. Please contact your front desk via phone if you have any questions about check-out procedures.
- All of your items must be out of your room and all cleaning should be completed before you meet with staff for your check-out.
- After your room is inspected, return your key to the RA or staff member at the front desk of your complex and complete your online check-out by going to my.fiu.edu>Student Tools>Student Housing>Housing@MMC>Spring Check-Out. The online check-out should only be completed when you have moved out of your room and no longer need access.
Students Graduating at the End of Spring
Students who are graduating at the end of the spring semester will be granted an automatic extension until 10 am the day following their graduation ceremony. The Housing Office will communicate these dates to students once registration for graduation closes. Students who do not participate in a graduation ceremony will be expected to move out by noon on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Students Staying for Session A/C
Students staying with us for Summer Session A or C will have two options for moving to their summer space.
Option 1 – pack all belongings and move out by noon on Saturday, April 27, 2024 – Return for Summer 2024 move-in on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Option 2 - continue living in your Spring 2024 room until Thursday, May 2, 2024. On or before Thursday, May 2, 2024, you will be asked to move. You must complete your move to your summer assignment and check-out of your spring assignment by 5pm on Friday, May 3, 2024.
